FOUNDER / DIRECTOR
Corey Adams
BNurs, GDipPsych, MBA, DrPH (candidate).
Corey founded DHSA with a commitment to provide the highest quality of in-home support services for people with disabilities and their families.
With a background as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Educator in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Corey brings a wealth of advanced clinical knowledge and expertise to his mission. For more than two decades, his extensive leadership in both public and private hospitals has profoundly influenced his commitment to delivering exceptional care to the community.
As a Disability Liaison Officer at one of Australia's largest hospitals, Corey witnessed firsthand the signficant challenges individuals with disabilities face when seeking quality home care. Motivated to make a positive difference, he created Disability Home Support Australia.
With qualifications in both Nursing and Psychology, Corey embraces a comprehensive and holistic approach to care - encompassing physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Currently completing a Doctorate in Public Health, Corey also specializes in health systems research, with a focus on quality improvement, innovation, and enhancing consumer experience in healthcare.

CO-FOUNDER
Dr. Linda Goddard
BHSc (Nursing), MEd, PhD.
Dr. Linda Goddard is an accomplished nursing professional with an extensive background spanning both Australia and the United Kingdom. Her vast experience in the field covers areas such as intellectual disability, mental health, and general nursing.
Her extensive career has included various care settings for people with disabilities —from hospitals and group homes to community services. Notably, Linda worked in a senior clinical role for an organisation aiding over 700 families, each navigating the complexities of intellectual, physical, and psychiatric disabilities.
Dr. Goddard's groundbreaking research, titled "The Health Empowerment Learning Partnership Model", offers a deep dive into the health challenges faced by families with children who have intellectual and/or physical disabilities. With a dedication for improving care for those with chronic and multifaceted healthcare needs, Dr. Goddard has consistently advocated for people with disabilities and their families.
Linda has also made significant contributions to nursing education to ensure the integration of health-related concerns of people with disabilities into university nursing curriculums. While in London, she showcased exemplary academic leadership, guiding undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programs with a specific emphasis on intellectual disability and mental health.
Beyond her nursing accomplishments, Linda is also a certified Life Coach, demonstrating her holistic approach to healthcare and wellness. Her unwavering passion for her work is driven by a genuine desire to advocate for and assist people with disabilities and their families, ensuring they receive the care, respect, and understanding they deserve.
